Grill Guards on Ebay?

I'm looking for a polished grill guard for my '02 1500. This is just my work truck / tow vehicle so I don't want to pour a lot of money into it. I already have one money pit, I don't need two . The extent of the mods I want to do to it include a set of chrome/polished step bars and a grille guard. I've already got an exhaust system and a K&N CAI and I'm going to install a shiftkit and tranny cooler which I've already got.

 

Anyways, I've been looking at grille guards and the cheapest I've found from one of the sponsers is upwards of $500-700 which is a LOT more than I want to spend on a mod for this truck. I have however found several grille guards on ebay for below $300. Why are these so much cheaper and are they even worth buying?

I'd also like to sneak in a question about my shift kit. I've got the 4L60E shift kit from trans-go and a B&M tranny cooler, but I've also got a Corvette servo. Is the Vette servo worth installing on my daily driver/tow truck?

I wouldn't risk buying something like that on ebay, but try and find someone that has and see what they say, and if it is good locate that ebay seller for one.

I bought one on Ebay from Huntertruckwholesale. It only cost $240 and shipping was included. The quality is second to none. Here is an item number to look up: 110152632758.

Installation was very easy and I got it within a couple of days. IMO, OEM is not better than these.
