Disconnected battery and now a/c sucks

I just disconnected the battery last night to put on my airaid intake system. I drove to work this morning and the drivers side is blowing cold air but the passenger side is blowing hot air. Its better than last night, when both sides were blowing hot air. I do have a 2004 LT silverado with the auto climate control system. I had the battery disconnected for about a hour. What is your advice to fix this or do I have to take it to a dealer?

With the key off, try pulling the HVAC/ECAS fuse in the IP fuse block for 30 seconds. Put it back in, start the truck up and DO NOT touch the a/c controls for 1 minute while it goes through its initialization procedure. You should notice the air switching from defrost to bottom, etc.

Sounds like the control head lost the door positions and needs to relearn them. If it doesn't help the first time you do this, try the same thing again and again and again. If it just won't learn them properly, you'll have to take it in. There's a recalibration procedure that we can do with a Tech 2.

I forgot to tell you that I have the auto climate control system. Where everything is digital. And I can manual set it or do the auto control. I let the auto control, do its thing this morning when I drove to work, drivers side was cool and the passenger side was hot. But I will take out the fuse if thats what you think it is.

You didn't forget. You said that in your first post.

I took out hvac fuse like you said. Runs ok now, I only started it once. I also noticed there is the hvac/ecas fuse in the underhood fuse block. Should I take that one out, if it starts doing the hot air/cold air thing? Thanks for your help

It's working. Leave it alone. If it does it again, you can certainly try that. It doesn't cost anything to pull a fuse for a minute, so go for it.
