TSB for Whiny A/C

[Calgary GMC]

Might there be a TSB for having a whiny/noisy A/C condensor? Mine really whines when ever the A/C is engaged, plus it makes a pretty good "Clunk" when it engages too.

 

Any had this problem fixed via TSB or otherwise?

Calgary I'm with you on that. My Silverado does the same thing, the first time I had it on and pulled into my garage I backed out wondering what that horrible noise is. Mine clunks as well when engaged, and if I turn the truck off you can hear this thing winding down. One thing I have found, if your a/c is on when you start the truck it's really loud.

 

The last time I had it in for service I complained and they said my I had a short in the blower motor. I thought it was fixed until yesterday and it was back.
