Brake Upgrades

Ok, so the brakes on the '04 ain't all that great. Anybody done any upgrades yet? I am going to keep the stock 16" wheels and have no plans to change them, but would definately like to get some better stopping power.

Okay, here goes:

 

www.praisedynobrakes.com great product, 2-3 times more expensive than stock. SS brake lines will compliment these brakes well. Yes they are more expensive, yes, they are worth it.

 

Sorry, but everytime people ask and these are recomended, they complain about the price, but they want good stuff. I do not understand the mind set that would do that, but such is life. Be prepared for a price tag of around $400 or so for rotors and pads, but you will not find better products.

Raybestos and Baer make some good cross-drilled rotors that will help with brake fade. If you go real heavy-duty with the pads the brakes won't be as quiet but some good semi-metallic pads will help. Also, flush/bleed the brakes. It could help a little with the pedal feel.
