2002 1500 Silverado metal rubbing sound

Ok, Looking for a little advice.... I have a 2002 1500 Silverado 4x4 with a Locking Diff that has a slight metal rubbing/scraping sound when in reverse.

The sound appears to be coming from the rear passenger wheel.

I initially thought it was a brake problem and have since replaced the pads and ground the rotor on that wheel. Noise still exists. Further testing finds that if I am in reverse going down a hill, the sound is there. If I slip the trans into nuetral while still rolling backwards, the sound goes away. When driving forward, no sound.

I am planning on pulling my rear diff cover off, checking for any problems and then changing the fluid.

Any ideas or things to look for while I am in there? Any other ideas of what my problem may be?

Thanks.....
