Confirmation that 285's will fit

Hi,

I have a 2002 GMC 1500 HD crew cab. I adjusted my Tbars to bring up the front end to be level with the back. Raised it about 2 1/2 inches. I just want to confirm that I will be able to fit a set of 285/75/R16's on it. I just wanted to post this to make sure that I understood the posts properly.

Thanks

Have them installed with the stock rims. Looks good and lots of room.

I really appreciate all the info on this board. Saved me the cost of a lift kit and it looks like a real truck now.

Thats ok, I am happy with the 285's. I will post a picture in my pic's section, it I can figure it out.

I fit those tires on my stock 2000 GMC Z71 with no crank on the stock wheels. No rubbing at all :dupe:

Nice tire. Good Luck

not trying to be a dick or anything, but you could have fit 305s with a little bit of minor trimming on the stock wheels

Not be a dick or anything but 305's aren't any taller than 285's. Also they are a little too wide for the HD's 16 inch wheels. :chevy:
