Easy - for you guys - DRL bulb ?

I'm feeling a little stupid this am. I have a burned out DRL bulb and can't seem to get it to release from the socket. I've tried just pulling, but it seems to be captured "stuck" somehow? Is there a trick to getting the bulb out?

signed, brain dead

I have the holder out of the lens assm., but there seems to be a "ring" on the inside of the socket that sorta holds the bulb socket tight? My Haynes manual was, as usual, no help at all....

It should just pull out. Wiggle it from side to side and pull firmly.

Don't touch the new one with your fingers- use a kleenex or papertowel to keep your nasty oily fingers off them  !!!

We are talking the bulb right?

Thanks quadman, just didn't want to break something for the sake of pulling to hard...

Which way does the new bulb go in? It looks symmetrical to me yet the socket has only three contacts, leaving one of the bulb contacts unconnected.

HELP! :D
