Just wondering if someone could tell me the diffrence between the stock limited slip and an auburn posi unit? is the posi going to stop me from doing one legger beggers??

Both are pretty much the same. Both use clutch disks to limit the slip until enough force is placed on the wheel with more traction then the clutches slip and then you are stuck.

Not sure of the exact difference, but I had the same problem of the "one legger beggers" because my truck didn't come w/a locking diff like alot of the HD's have. The dealer wanted maga bucks to install a factory locking diff. I went to a good diff shop and had a Detroit locker installed for almost half of what "stealer" wanted. So I got better unit for less $$...and now two 20ft black lines of rubber down my driveway

You ever see a top fuel car do a one-wheeled burn-out? If drag racing is what you're doing, then yes....getting power to the ground through both wheels is much better than only one wheel. But if you're not spinning at the tree, then it won't make a bit of difference because you don't have a traction problem. If its a good unit for $150...I'd jump on that because you're gonna want it sooner or later.

posi or positraction is a gm term for their version of the limited slip differential. it's not a difference issue. positraction is a limited slip differential. limited slip differential is an industry term for a clutch or gear type differential that allows for different wheel speeds to occur for turning and equal wheel speeds under power when going straight. positraction is a gm term only for a limited slip. chrysler uses the name sure grip, jeep uses trak-lock, etc. the only company allowed to call their limited slip a positraction differential is eaton since they developed the limited slip for gm way back when it first came out.
