Chinese Jews

A rabbi and his 45 year old son meet for lunch one day in a Chinese restaurant. They talked about the old days when the rabbi used to travel the world to spread the word of Judaism.

 

"Dad, you've been all over the world, but you've never been to China. Are there Chinese Jews?"

 

"I don't know son, let's ask the waiter." "Waiter, are there such a thing as Chinese Jews?"

 

"I not know answer to question, but I ask cook. Cook very smart man."

 

The waiter took their order and in about 10 minutes returned with their food.

 

"Excuse me, did you ask the cook?", the rabbi asked.

 

"Yes, I asked cook. I very sorry, no Chinese Jews, but we have apple joos, grapefruit joos, orange joos, but no Chinese joos.
