TIRES....

WHAT ARE THE BIGGEST TIRES THAT I COULD FIT ON MY 2001 SILVERADO 1500 2WD?  ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD HELP..THANKS

I know on the 4x4's you can stick some LT285's on them w/o any rubbing.  On the 2wd trucks I don't know if you'd have the clearance up front.  To be on the safe side I'd say LT265's, but I'm sure someone w/ a 2wd will give you a definite answer.

Largest tires on stock height 2wd rado is 275/70R16

Are you talking tall or wide? I've seen 285/60 16 on stock wheels.
