tuners help with drive by wire throttle response ?

my 04 avalance 5.3, has terrible mushy feeling throttle response, have cat back exhaust and air intake, my 02 suburban with same mods will run rings around the av ! with much better feeling drivability to boot, the sub does have a superchips programer, just wondering if anybody has seen improvement in this area, thanks Rob

That's one area where tuners can make the MOST improvement. Drive by wire takes the control away from the driver, the tuners can put it all back in your control
