Aftermarket Exhaust for the AV?

I am looking for an aftermarket exhaust for my AV.  Does anyone have any recommendations?  I would prefer dual exhaust out the back, but on the AV that doesn't look feezable.  I am looking for something that has good rumble, but won't annoy the wife too much in the cab.  I have a baby in the rear seat.

 

Any suggestions is greatl;y appreciated.

If I were you - given the situation you describe, I would pass on this. Most of the cat backs available have resonance @ 1800 RPM's that can be wearing. You might want to search a number of boards for user experience before you do anything.

 

For what it is worth PV mufflers and Magnaflow get reasonable grades on "normal" driving noise - good performance and still sound mean when you "get it on"

I have a Gibson catback, single sideswept.  I've had no complaints from my wife nor my sleeping teens in back.

Nice choice of car and truck.   I have the same in my garage. As far as the exhaust I have been looking at the flowmaster's SUV delta flow 50 series. From reading their web page this is what I want. I was waiting to see if anyone else on the board had tried this.

The 50 series SUV may be good for you.  It was too loud for me and the 70 series had bad resonance with my setup. (rear exit).  I went with a Walker Quietflow 3" inlet to two 2 1/4" outlets.  I'm very satified with this setup.  Hear it at:

I had the flowmaster 50 series on my old truck and to me it was a little quiet.  ??? I didn't think it could go out the back with the new avalanche(rear bumper is lower?).  I will check out everything that everyone mentioned, thanks for the responds.

You may be able to just replace the stock muffler - the rest of the stock setup is pretty strong as it is - check a good local shop.
