I have a 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 and was wondering if the Pioneer AVIC-D1 navigation would fit? When i look online and see what fits my truck only DIN 1 head-units show up but it looks like a DIN 2. thanks in advance

The D1 will fit 04's and up have the double din dash opening. In fact I just installed the D1 in my 05 Suburban this weekend. It was a pain in the ass because of everything else I installed with it, but well worth it!!!

Just a couple of questions. Do the steering wheel controls work with the Pioneer AVIC-D1 and can you post some Pics of your install?
