No Fan ???

Changed the oil last nite in the 2005 Yukon XL with 5.3 engine and noticed that there is no engine driven fan. There appear to be threads on the water pump shaft, but no fan. Should there be a fan on there, or does the 5.3 just use the electric fans ?

I though all 05 1500 series went with electric fans. Everything prior to 05 was engine driven.
