02 GMC Yukon Flex Fuel Questions

I have an 02 GMC Yukon XL that I am thinking of puting a Radix supercharger to increase my towing power. The thing I saw was that there is no price difference between flex fuel and regular fuel. The only difference was that the flex fuel model didn't have fuel pump and injectors in it. They would reuse the stock injectors which I think are a little light for the application. I know I can change the injector clip ends to the regular fuel style but what else would be needed to make the regular fuel radix work in a flex fuel vehicle? What I want to do is get the regular fuel kit and make it work with the flex fuel vehicle. Anyone know what to do? TIA

My problem is that Magnuson says that the fuel pump and fuel injectors are 62 pph as opposed to the stock 28pph and the pump is already larger so I am not sure if that is true. Anyone know? I'd rather not run out of fuel and the dealership is drawing a blank.

You could send them out to be flow tested and cleaned while you are installing the supercharger. It does stand to reason that the E85 system would have a larger capacity, since alcohol fuel has less energy content and a richer stoichiometric ratio.

Probably. However they are not Multec II and most places don't have the way to hook them up

Flex fuel models have a higher capacity fuel pump. I watched a program on"two-guys garage" which is usually on spike tv sundays, where they were installing one of these units. Injectors and pump remained original because with E-85 fuel there is less energy in the fuel and therefore the engine has to use more of it to get same power as regular gas. Anyway, after instal the ECM is reprogrammed to the blower. On the show the chevy tahoe was dyno'd with very noticeable improvements.
