OK, i'm hoping that there is some fuse or something that controls all this stuff, but I lost my daytime running lights, the airbag light on the dash is on and my 4x4 will not engage. I am afraid I may have a mouse chewing wires but thought that someone else might have a better explanation. The truck is a 99 Sierra SLT 1500 Z71 with the autotrack transfer case (it still shifts but the front axle won't engage). I have'nt really had time to look over the wiring under the truck yet for chew marks but I know that there has been a mouse in the engine compartment (and the airbox, and the holes in the hood  ) Thanks.

Wiring damaged by field mice or rats is not as uncommon as one might think. We see this every couple months. They must love the wiring insulation and seem to prefer pink wires for whatever reason, but they don't overlook other colors.
