Warranty buy

Well i just purchased a 2005 with 16,000 miles on it, 4x4 ext cab 5.3 alumminum block (got it for 20) , the dealer is trying hard to talk me into a warranty. I would like to know from a tech if these vehicles are worth the 1,000 for the warranty in there opinion. I guesss is if they might or tend to have a problem before 80,000 then i'll buy one but if not then i would hate to waste the money. Any advice or comments would be nice

Some have problems, some don't. Are you a gambler? That's basically the size of it. Buy the extended warranty and you'll be sorry you spent the money if you never have a problem. But have a major component problem when you're out of warranty, and you'll be thankful you have an extended warranty.

 

Do not buy anything but a GM protection plan.
