Anti-Sway Bars on Yukon

Dear GM Expert,

I have a 2003 Yukon with 50,000miles and the Z71 RCO Code (as noted in the glove box). It has anti-sway bars front and rear and 17' wheels. VIN indicates "Off Road Suspension Z71" and Heavy Duty Trailering (Z82). GVW is 6,800

The rear sway bar is 1.1" diameter (28mm).

Question:

Would I get a better ride (less sway and roll) in turns, cornering, bumps, etc., if I were to remove the stock sway bars and install after-market sway bars? If so, what type and size do you recommend?

What size sway bar should my vehiicle have?

Thanks,

Brian

A lot of effort went into the engineering of your vehicle to achieve the best ride and handling combination possible. It is probably unlikely you would not notice much difference by replacing the sway bar with any other type.

I have no idea what the size is. Never had any need to measure one.
