Jesse tune MPG results

A while ago I had Jesse do me a economy tune based on premium fuel.

Prior to this, the best I had ever got from the Burb was 14.8 highway - on a long trip to NC earlier this year. I had never done a reliable measurment of city MPG.

It has taken me a while because I don't do a lot of miles in the Burb but I did recently go on a camping trip with a 300 mile round trip.

Anyway, my highway MPG was up to 17.2 - this was moving at around 70-75mph on the freeway. A 16% improvement on premium gas that costs only 10% more ($2.01/$2.21 here in MD)

The 'city' i.e. everyday back and forth to work, chinese take out, kids soccer etc was 14.2mpg

What do you think? Will the computer learn maybe and give me another few tenths?

Oh...5.3, 4x4, 3.70 rear.

I've gotten as high as 22 with mine (on regular unleaded). This was with an empty truck with the cruise set at 60.

If I can only get my wife to see that it actually would help with the mpg.....

:D Just do what I do...figure out what time brown delivers and get it before it hits the porch...then when she's gone to run errands plug it in the truck. Remember, they can only complain about what they see. :D

Or better yet, just have it delivered to work so you don't have to worry about it. :fume:
