Heated Mirrors not working???

So we are having our first real snow fall of the year and it appears that my heated mirrors are not working. Turn on read defogger and the mirrors do not melt any of the snow off . It is both mirrors so I do not think they both failed... but I could be wrong there.

 

Questions: 1- I checked the rear defroster fuse ant that is fine.. is there another fuse that goes to the mirrors??

 

2- How to I actually check them other than to go "they don't melt snow"?

FROZEN.........The mirrors are on the same fuse as the rear defogger.

My driver side mirror quit working this year and it turned out the glass was bad. $162 at the Chevy dealer for them to install a new one and now I am a happy, lazy, warm individual with clear mirrors.

I have a power, heated mirror for parts if anyone needs on. Only thing wrong with it is it doesnt lock into position.
