Tranny temp sensor and wiring

I may be swapping out my speedo cluster to one of the ones with a tranny temp gauge. I know it's a plug and play mod, except for the mileage and hours having to be programmed into the new cluster. (I know about the decal thing, but I'd rather have the real deal mileage/hours on the cluster.) Everyone has said the temp sensor and wiring is already in place and all you have to do is put the new cluster in for the gauge to work. I know about the airbag light for using a newer cluster in a '99, but have that taken care of.

 

My main concern is if the sensor and wiring is actually there. I'm pretty sure it is, but not 100% sure. Does anyone know if every single new body style '99 was pre-wired/sensored from the factory? I can just imaging my luck; getting the cluster and finding out that they started pre-wiring/sensor-ing the month after mine was built.
