Just dropped my truck off at 4WheelParts and its suppose to be ready tomorrow afternoon.

Im getting the ProComp 6" w/315 Xterrains

Well, its jump for joy day!

Ill be gong crazy all day today waiting for my truck to be ready

I hope its not too late, that way i can drive over to my buddies house and use his digital camera

Sorry guys, as luck would have it, it wasnt ready Thursday like they said it would.

I wasnt surprised of course.

Should be ready this afternoon

Well my truck was ready and i picked her up Friday and cruised up to meet with some FSC members in Austin on Saturday.

Everything was sweet until my pass side tie rod came loose and i almost crashed.

Upon inspectoin we realized that neither nut was replace on the tie rods and im only lucky that both didnt come loose, i would have lost all steering.

Good thing i wasnt on the highway, the thing was shaking so bad!

Im thinking they werent torqued down and they vibrated off.

My truck is still in Austin, and im in San Antonio. Mark had the 4wheelparts pick it up and fix it. I have complained to the SA store and Corporate about getting a refund on the install charges so im waiting on that.

The truck is ready, but i couldnt pick it up today so im going up tomorrow.

Sad weekend for me

I hope this gets resolved.

I'm glad the truck looked good but I'm sorry to hear about the shoddy install job. You're lucky you weren't in an accident and hurt or they would have been pooping bricks!!! I think a refund of the labor is a fair request.
