Fog lights

I want to possibly lose my front airdam, and them low flying fog lights that hone in on every bump they find. Wondering if anyone else has mounted lights above the bumper and/or behind the grill. I know the lower, the better, but I can't seem to justify that with the jobsite that has it in for low clearance vehicles. Maybe even inside the bumper where the two rectangular holes are in the metal? Who makes a foglight that can stand to be bumped and battered? The brighter the better!
