Congratulations Longhorns!!! Way to go Vince Young!!!

I actually could care less who won as long as USC lost!! I am a huge Irish fan, and when they lost to USC this year I hoped someone would beat them. (the White sox won later that night so it wasn't too bad)

Here is my only b!tch about the whole game... Why did CBS have reporters run to USC's head coach Pete Carroll and then Matt Leinart before interviewing any Texas player/coach? Didn't the media spend (waste) an entire year hanging on USC's jock? The past month has been all about USC, not Texas. Texas knocked off the two time defending champs, breaking a 34 game win streak, had a QB put up almost 500 passing and rushing and CBS runs to USC to talk to them?!?! Then Leinart in his little interview whines "we're still the better team" Ummm no your not, you lost moron!!

OK so I'm done.

Congrats all you 'horns fans!!! You all earned it!

Being a sooner fan this is very hard for me to say I am also glad Texas won (i still cant believe i said that ) funny thing is i bet there arent many Texas fans that would say the same for OU...anyway congrats Texas

I was pulling for the Trojans. I can't bring my self to pull for saxeT. The only positive thing that came out of that was it derails SCs chance to break OU's 47 gamer. Now we just gotta be saxeT next year to squash their little win streak.

See now that Texas won it all........ next year when we beat Texas it will make it even sweeter.

I'm from SoCal, and a UCLA fan also. So I have hated USC longer than I have hated Texas.

Have any of you heard the rumor that Stoops might be going to the Chiefs...they say he isnt interested but it would be a good program for him to take over...bt unfortunatly it will probably be Herm Edwards from the Jets/

I'm a HUGE HORNS FAN and I would gladly root for OU if they were playing USC. I might even root for Texas A&M. I was just glad to see my team (or any team for that matter) win against that "Golden Boy" team from California. I was actually pulling for ND earlier in the season when they had USC beaten and gave it up in the last few minutes... It was all I could do to listen to the ESPN types talk about how great they were all week.

There are always rumours of Bob Stoops going somewhere else. With the incoming class he has and the team he'll have at Oklahoma next year I really think it'll be at least a couple of years before he even thinks of going somewhere. The Sooners should be a preseason favorite to play in the Fiesta Bowl along with Notre Dame and dare I say West Virginia?

With the incoming class he has and the team he'll have at Oklahoma next year I really think it'll be at least a couple of years before he even thinks of going somewhere. I watched the game from the Sports Book at Caesers... hell of a game.

Don't worry OU fans - you have a fair chance at UT next season now that Vince is leaving. He was an incredible leader, and i doubt his replacement can fill his shoes in the first year. Kinda like the transition OU was going through this season. Regardless, Hook Em, and next season can't come soon enough.
