I went to my dealership today to het an oil change and my service manager asked me if i wanted to see something cool. I was like sure. he led me back into the shop and they had there first 2007 Yukon. It was an SLT with the 5.3 i think.

It was ok, i really dislike the headlights, they are to big and it has a hummeresque vibe to the styling. the interior is very clean and well put together. a REALLY modernized version of the interiors we are so used to. I kinda looks like the interior on the new Jeep grand cheerokee. like the fit and finish of the dash and the material it is made out of is kinda... different.

As for comfort, i got to drive it and it rode really well and had some good power for a yukon. although i REALLY dislike the new gauge cluster. it is really tubeish. the seats are kinda stiff but the leather is nice. it is a little rougher than my dads 2002 yukon SLT. but nice. the visibility is good but not great.

Now the handling is leaps and bounds better than the old yukon, it almost eliminates the on-center dead spot that has plauged GM steering for years. Also i don't know if it had DOD but if it did than wow it was seamless and i did not notice it at all.

The steering wheel is a little cluttered but usable and feels good in your hands. the seating position is a little higher than i like but the headroom is good for me because i am 6'3"

So enough of my rant and sorry for the long post. Pictures Coming soon.
