My dealer in Broomfield, CO has a couple different custom worked trucks for sale on their lot.  They all have altered suspensions (some up some down) and reworked exhuasts.  I didn't have a chance to talk to anyone about them but they had to of had at least a half dozen different ones all in prominant locations around the front and entrances.  The had an AV 1500 with a 6 inch suspension lift, reworked exhuast, wood grained interior going for 51,000.  Yikes....... All these trucks had a Regency badge and window decal on them.  The sticker said they were from fort worth Texas.  Anyone know anything ele about these

They are just brand new trucks w/ some aftermarket bolt ons installed.  That price tag is absurd, but you know someone will buy it anyways.  Different shops have different names for there special packages.  My uncle used to own a "starcraft" suburban.  It had a tv/vcr, starcraft on the leather seats and some different rims.  But, if you want to actually take the time you can buy one and do it cheaper, or heck, even have a shop do it cheaper.

Let me second chevy4x4trucks on that score - much cheaper to do the mods your way, your timetable.

There is a dealer in AZ doing "Thunder Avalanches", supercharged and all - adds $10K to the price - rumor has it that warranty is still good. There are also rumors of "Brickyard" specials floating around - no confirmation.

The only reason to go the "special edition" route would be warranty and thats not enough in my mind. :sarcasm:

It's converted by a Conversion Van Converter.  There are many different companies, Starcraft, Mark III, Recency, are some that come to mine.  They mostly convert full size vans into luxury conversion vans, my Mom owns a 2000 Dodge Ram van Mark III conversion van.  They also convert some pickups and SUV's.  At their plants they have hundreds of full size vans outside, and slowly convert them.  They add those 3 vista bay windows, upholstry and seats.  When they arrive from the OEM manufacturer they are just the chassis and windows on the doors.  Check out www.markiii.com , www.starcraft.com for more info.  I believe that Mark III went under, IMO they were the best convertor.  Not to showy at all, just some slight badging, did a great job on my van.  It listed at like 42K and with the employee discount my Grandpa got us and everything else we walked out for 26K including TTL.
