2 questions tire monitor and tran fluid use

On my 04 burb 15000 miles 5.3 engine

 

#1 after a 3400 mile trip I came back to find it is down to the add mark on tranny fluid. is that normal ? is that a full quart ?

 

#2 the Check tire monitor system came on, what does that mean ?

 

tires are ok

Unlike engine oil, trans fluid isn't consumed. The level shouldn't change unless it's leaking out.

 

If it says "Service Tire Monitor" there's a problem somewhere in the tire monitor system, it's not a low tire.
