Just picked up Smitybult Nurf bars for my 2000 Sierra.  First let me say that they are some good looking nurf bars, but the installation instructions that came with them suck.

The copy machine that printed them looks like it was running out of ink and they also say installation should take 45 minutes.  Well maybe 45 minutes if you've installed a few sets.  The brackets that came with them arn't maked clearly and it took about 15 minutes just to figure out which was which.

Does anyone out there have them on their Siverado or Sierra that can help me with how the brackets should go on and what the heck is a cab mount??

Thanks in advance.

If your bars are anything like my Smity's, they are very simple to install.

Each side had 3 brackets.

The front of each side are only held in place by one bracket that mounts to the body mount.

The rear of each side uses two brackets, one like the front, and one that bolts horizontally to the trucks frame.

I hope you understand, if not, ill try and get some pictuers.

Thanks for the quick replay.  The nurf bars mount the same, 3 brackets. 1 in front and 2 in back.   After checking out the instructions, I think I figured it out how the rear ones are positioned.  I'm going to try to get them on at lunch time or after work .
