Positraction on Regency Silverado

I was considering buying a positraction rearend for my Regency Sierra 1500 GMC. Regency modified the truck with a cold air intake, ceramic chrome headers, extra insulated spark plug wires, dual exhaust and a roll pan as well as numerous features in the cab. To see more here is the link Regency WebPage. Basically the truck is pushing somehwere between 300 and 310 hp and it smokes one wheel up as is. Even with the current speedster 20" x 9.5" wheels and the 265/50/20 RSA Performance Radial Tires. My only drawbacks are if I install a positraction rearend in the truck will my existing clutch and transmission be able to handle the extra power delivered? Also any suggestions for a posi rearend for my truck and some quick and dirty installation instructions would be greatly appreciated.
