Just wondering if anyone of you out there knows how and where GM stores is programming software that gets uploaded to the Tech2 and ultimately to the car. ive tried to search for it withen the TIS2000 files because I want to see if I can view the programming and maybe add in my own lines to make custom features - just an idea ive been carrying around.

It's on the GMACCESS server.  Do you just have the TIS2000 software or are you looking for this info at a GM store?

I have the TIS2000 software (im a fairly new 15A tech at a gm dealer)

Is there anyway to access the files?

The stuff is on the T: drive. That's the drive letter that's mapped to the appropriate folder on the GMACCESS server. Look in "my computer" and you should see that drive... that is, assuming you're looking at a PC that is currently running TIS2000 successfully.

I never looked for the data files, but they must be there somewhere.
