Clear proctective film

Looking into some variations of the clear plastic stick on proctectant films for some of the areas on my truck. The products seem to vary in price especially if you are getting them cut to fit your vehicle.

I looked at the truck guide through Cabelas, they offer rolls of the material for a "do it your selfer" for around 20 bucks.

Looking for some feedback or pros and cons if anyone has experience with these products.

I bought some locally and did my door kick plates and really like the stuff, very easy to work with. Just use soapy water to help get it in place with no bubbles and your set, you will see it there, but only when you look. I am not sure if kick plate is the right term, where you kick your boots before you get in. Anyways mine were starting to rust and that fixed it.

Go to your local automotive Stciker store, or where they apply stickers for Fleet vehicles, I got mine there and they buy it in large rolls of 100 ft

They'll usually sut ya a piece or have scraps left for some beer money
