My lovely wife drives a 2000 venture. Does anyone know of a forum that covers this van? I have seen the Edmunds forum and I hate the way the topics are all one right after the other. I would like to find a forum set up the same as this one.

We have an 02 Venture. So far it is doing great with 90k on it. I also wanted to find more information on them and the only thing I could find was this site here.

How has your venture been. The only problem we had was back in the early days of it's life and that was a leaking intake gasket and warped heads. Thank goodness the warranty paid for that. We got to drive around in an 03 Trailblazer for two weeks.

Good site, thanks for posting it. Now to tackle my spark plugs. Having to rotate the engine doesn't sound fun and my big hands will make it interesting to get back behind the engine.

yeah, I want to do the plugs and wires, but the whole rotating-the-engine-forward-thing doesn't sound like a quick in and out like our trucks. I am going to do it when it gets a bit warmer though.

We had a 97 Venture a few years ago. Not a bad van, but I took it in for plugs and wires. A wise investment!

 

When we had the van, we didn't have any kids. Traded the van for an Impala then had a kid. Wish we had the van back!
