2006 Silverado on '05 OEM SS wheels with 285/50/20's. I installed Belltech 2" drop rear shackles and Rancho RS9000 shocks. It handles and rides great. Just thought I'd show a photo to help others with their decisions...

Looks great! I've a '03 Silverado SS and I've contemplated leveling the backend too. I tow a boat so have been reluctant, not knowing what it will do to the towing capabilities.(don't want a tail dragger when towing!)

Forgot to ask, but do you have any vibrations at any speeds and does the kit require shims for the driveline alignment?

Thanks, Ray. No shims or vibration for me. I used a digital protractor to measure before and after. The shaft angle change was less than 1 degree. My truck had less than 1,000 miles on it. I was told that vibration usually occurs on trucks with higher miles that have never carried loads due to u-joint bearings creating a wear pattern at a given angle. Try it first and shim it later if you have to.

It will drop more when you drop a boat hitch on it. There are leaf spring supports that you can get to keep it level while under load.
