I believe the engine is expected to be a version of the 6.0l and not the 6.2. This is based on late availability of the same engine in the 2007 Avalanches. I've heard they are available for special order now, but only in combination with the 4 speed auto and the LT3 / LTZ w/autoride suspension packages (on Avs).

I'll bump this up for ya. I've got a thread like this on some other sites. I realy want to get a narower timeframe on the 6.0 AND 6 speed release for the 1500 Tahoe/ Burb.

First I think Chevy "Needs" to get at LEAST the 6-speed into the LTZ By calender year/regular 07MY. I'd actualy go from an LT3 up to that one if it had the new trans.

 

 

To mix things up Cadillac is doing the hybrid in 07 as an 08??? Go figure LOL

I got that portion out of Truck Trend.
