Question
sflichel
Hey, I'm a newbe here. Anyhow, I started wiring in a command start in a 1993 Chev s-10 today, everything is done except I'm stumped on where to tap in for the tach signal. I've done many cammand starts before but the books I have show the tach line in the schematic. The book I picked up sucks and it doesnt show such an option. I am also planning on installing one in my 86' S-15 soon, looks and probly is the same as the S-10. Can anyone help??? There is a 2 wire into the coil, a 2 wire out which goes into the distributor. There is also a 4 wire connector that goes right to the computer, from the distributor. The command start I'm installing needs 1 - 6 VDC from the tach output. Any help with both trucks would be appreciated. Thank you..........and great site.
Shaun
