clogged cats

Gentlemen,

 

has anyone with the stock air intake and paper filter had to change clogged cats?

Thanks, nothing like good, accurate info. When mine clogged, it was just plain dirt clogging the front, not some sort of chemical internal thing. It seems like the engine can ingest a reasonable amount of dirt but the cat catches it really well.

 

Gee, maybe the cat should be in the airbox and the filter in front of the muffler.

haha i agree....how soon do these cats get clogged....for a person that usually only does street driving
