Well The other day i said hey, this Trans Am isnt working for me, so i gave the keys to my 02 trans am to my dealership and took the keys to a 01 3500 sierra ext cab with the 8.1 (dark blue)

what should i know about this truck...

also the used car manager said he was going to replace all the tires, but because i was taking the car, he wasnt going to make me buy them so... he said the "front tires were cupping" what does that mean and is this a standard problem, what might be the resolve?

also is there any header/exhaust combination that help her breath a little better? possibly better fuel ecconomy or at least more power :shakehead:

i've had it for 2 days... and so far i can tell i can only put in 75$ worth of gas in via credit card... soo... i have to fill up again in order to reset the tripometer... then, i'd need to fill her up again... i'll tell you what i'm getting in a few days, but i know it isnt good :flag:

lol for my old trans am i was going to get a sticker that said "for every gallon you save, I burn one" now i think i'll change that to "for every gallon you save, i burn two" cause of my hatrid for stupid hybrid vehicles... :D

Jesus!!! It's an 8.1 for godsake...here's what to expect:

$450.00 month gas bill!!! :D

Lots of power and crappy gas mileage...but it's worth the price if you can pull a house off it's foundation I always say.

Welcome! And congrats on the 8.1! You will love it.

I'd recommend aftermarket intake / exhaust and get yourself a Westers tune for the CPU. If you can keep your foot out of it, you can expect somewhere in the 10 MPG / City, 12-13 Highway range.

I like the sticker idea. Funny.
