Access bed cover

Hey guys,

I stopped by my local truck place and got a quote for a Access cover. They said $450, $35 for installation, plus sales tax. So, its going to be about $520. Is this outrageous to anybody?

I got mine for $260, it was used though. Previous owner said he paid twice that. I installed it myself, it was pretty easy. I found it on this site's classifieds as a matter of fact.

I have a friend that sells me stuff at a discount and he quoted me around 400 + tax installed. So i would say that is around normal price. Maybe about $20 high is all i can figure but i would imagine that has something to do with geographical location too.
