Speedometer Fix?

I had reported some time ago that my TB Speedometer would not reset to 0 at shutdown and then it would indicte 90 at 50 etc. I was advised to get a new cluster and was just getting ready to do just that when I changed the oil. I reset the change oil light with the DIC and behold the speedometer now works fine. Any one else seen or heard of this?
