? About Theftlock for 97 Tahoe

Tahoe was purchased used and previous owner engaged the Theftlock device for the radio. Today the alternator went out. I replaced the alternator and disconnected and charged the battery. Now (you guessed it) the clock and radio will not work. Does anyone know of a way to reset without having the pass code from the original owner? I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow night. Any help is very much appreciated.
