AEM Brute FOrce Intake for 2006 1500???

I just purchased a 2006 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 in it....my question is does the AEM intake from the ealrier models with the 5.3 fit my '06 or no? Or....do they indeed make one specifically for the 06'??

Do you already have one from an older model 5.3L that you are trying to use?

 

If you are going to have to buy one, I would suggest that you look closely at the Truflow CAI system. It is very high quality and looks great under the hood. It is also a true cold air system that will not allow hot air into the intake.

 

I have had one for about 3 months and am very happy with it. However, if you are looking for intake roar, look somewhere else because it is almost as quiet as the stock unit.

Ah....no I don't have an older one. I was looking to buy new. I actually just came across this intake on Injens site and it looks as if I might go with this one over others. I've had an Injen on my 240sx for years now and love it....so......found me a winner!!

i highly reccomend aem with dryflow, easy to clean and install, great performance too!!!!!!
