Chevrovet Colorado (Isuzu I-280) stalling

I just bought an Isuzu I-280. It is the same as the Colorado with the 2.8 liter 4 cylinder. In the past month and a half I have had a few occations that it will begain to stall on me. There is a rattling noise and the truck has no power. After I turn it off and on a few times it will go away for a week or so. Then for no reason it will start again. This truck is new with only 3500 miles. Does anybody know sometihng about the problem or know someone with this problem? Thanks.
