97 Sub 350 -Intermitten problem starting

My suburban has a intermitten issue when starting. Usually happens when the truck has been sitting a day or so. It's almost like it's jumped time when you go to start it, then the check engine light comes on and it runs lean (pings, stalls, etc) then after it warms up it runs fine.

Truck has 123k miles on it and when it runs, it runs great! I have replace the O2 sensors.. And was wondering if it's the MAF sensor?? Any ideas? Your help is greatly appreciated!

Best Regards,

Fred

Usually if you can disconnect the MAF and the thing don't die I would say you might have found you problem. Try cleaning it first.

Thanks for the advise. I tried cleaning it, no change.. I also replaced it.. No change.. I am new to the area (Merritt Island Florida) and not sure where to take it to have it looked at.. Had a bad experience at the dealer a few months back, not sure about the local dealer(s) here.. I guess other options might be the MAP sensor ?
