Overhead console w/ Homelink?

I have a '04 K1500 Silverado Crewcab 4x4 with tan interior and no sunroof, I'm wanting to add the Homelink controls. Does anybody know where I can buy one of these besides the dealership? I've been looking on e-bay motors everyday with no luck. I'm wanting one for a decent price not $350-$400.

I have seen this offered by an aftermarket acessory company, but the price was about $ 350. Your best bet would be trying to find this console from a wrecked Chevy Avalanche. The homelink console is available on the Avalanche even without the sunroof. Unfortunately, the console sells for about $ 350 from the GM dealers too. gmpartsdirect.com will be cheaper, but I do not know the part number.

Find a wrecked truck with homelink controls.

 

Try Schrams in Michigan, they have everything for GM used parts.

 

I think there number is 248-673-5700 If not just google them. One of the best junk yards ( I hate to use that term with them because they are so well organized) I have ever seen.

Just keep watching ebay. I picked up one for my Suburban a couple years ago for $25. It was out of an Escalade and still had the rear air controls installed. Replaced the Escalade controls with my Suburban one. Then sold the Escalade controls on ebay for $25.

I bought one out of a Tahoe off of Ebay with the rear A/C controls and just replaced the A/C controls with cubby bin from my orignal console. Make sure you get the right length console, Tahoes or Suburbans with the sunroof have a shorter console than trucks without a sunroof. The console I bought was for a non sunroof vehicle.

Nitrous, which wiring harness configuration did you have the 3-wire or the 5-wire. How did you hook it up? Are you still able to open the doors and the map lights will turn on for a short time and that the Homelink buttons light up when you turn on your lights at dark? I' m having a hek of a time trying to figure out how to the wire it up without fear of screwing something up with the computer. By the way I have the 3-wire harness and the new overhead console with Homelink has a 5-wire hook-up.
