I have base interior and was wondering if anyone knows how to take the handle off of the thing you roll the window up and down with??? When its all the way up, it hits me in the leg! It looks like it pulls off but not sure? THANKS!

If it's like all the other window cranks I've seen in the past, there is a little spring clip behind it, between the handle and the door panel.  You may be able to remove it with a screwdriver or pair of pliers, but the best way is to get a tool from Advance Auto Parts or similar parts store that is made for this.  You just slide it behind the door handle and push the clip off.

Hope this helps.

If you get the tool at the parts store, just ask for a window crank removal tool, they should know what it is.

Thanks Tom!! Will probably check into the tool, AutoZone has free tool rental! I went out and checked it out but not sure how it works there is no space between the back of the crank and the door panel, cant get anything behind there so.... we'll see   :D

I forgot to mention, they tool is usually made of very thin metal, so it should slip between there easily.  They also only cost around $5.00 or so.
