sounds like a torque converter?

My 93 Suburban shakes like a mutha at 58 mph, 65, 74 etc. as soon as you climb a small hill. Goes away @ 80 plus, or if you give it gas or back off the pedal some.

350, 1500 2wd.

 

Sounds like? Shop says torque converter, won't do the job unless rebuild the entire tranny since it has 150k miles.

Take it somewhere else....you may have to go to a smaller less known shop.
