GMC Jimmy with code P0175

I have 1996 GMC Jimmy vortec V6 4.3L. It has 103k miles on it and my problem started around 96k miles. When the vehicle hit about 100k the service engine light started coming on and now stays on. It reads a code P0175 which is bank 2 running rich. The problem is the car is hard to start and gets poor fuel economy and idle a little rough. I will start with every thing I have done. I have cleaned the mass air flow sensor new plugs wires and cap and rotor. I used everything the manual said to use. I have put a new coil on I just finished cleaning the IAC and using Sea Foam. When using the sea foam you could see the carbon blowing out and it seemed to idle fine we went and drove it. After driving it a few miles we came back and let it sit for a while and it still had trouble starting and was still idling a little rough. I have check every O2 sensor I had one that was bad and I replaced it. I used the method where you use a torch and a DMM and watch the voltage and seconds to see if the sensor is still good. I have used a K@N air filter since I have bought the truck so I do not think that would be the problem I even cleaned it to make sure that was not it. I have replaced the fuel pump and put fuel filters on twice since the problem started. The fuel pressure gauge I borrowed I think has a leak in it because we tried it on my buddys Chevy truck and it did the same thing which was leak down real slow and his truck runs great. I am running out of money or I would have bought my own gauge. I have bought a fuel pressure regulator I have not put it on due to I have to pull the intake to put it on. The part was 55.00 and I still have to buy a gasket and not for sure if that is the problem. Since putting the fuel pump it will start most of the time without giving it gas, but it just has to turn over way to many times :D. My Hanes manual does not show me any values that I could check on the IAC or mass air flow or the TPS or I would check them. I am getting really frustrated and don't know what to check. Is it real possible that the fuel pressure regulator could be bad and making it hard to start and Idling rough and getting bad gas milage? It is late, but I think that I have listed every thing that I have done. I hope somebody out there has seen this problem and can help me a friend of a friend says he has a scanner, but that has been going on for a month and have'nt seen the scanner so I gave up on that. If you have any thing else I could check please chime in or if you need some more info please let me know and thank you in advance. :)

The regulator would be my next step. Fairly common.

So the regulator is common to go out. When I used my buddy's fuel pressure gauge like I said above in the first post when we tried it on my buddys 97 chevy pickup the pressure dropped alott slower on his truck, but his truck runs great. Is it possible that the gauge is leaking and leaking on the regulator that is why it shows it dropping faster on the Jimmy. Should I invest the money and buy a fuel pressure gauge I do not want to buy one from Snap On seeing I will not use it very much. Orielly auto parts has one for about 20.00 or is it a waste of money. Or just bite the bullet and just put the regulator on. Is it possible that a fuel pump and regulator going out would have caused this code P0175? I am just hoping the next thing I do fixes the problem I am getting frustrated. When replacing the regulator is their anything that I need to be cautious of? Another mechanic I yalked to said he did not see many problems with the regulators, but I do stereos and alarms in cars for a living and I might not see certain things that someone else sees a ton of. Sorry the post is so long just trying to make sure I give all the details. If anybody has any ideas on if I should get a gauge or just forget and replace the regulator please chime in otherwise I guess I will stop and pick up the intake gasket I already have purchased the regulator. Thanks so much for your help :).
