tires on a 2006 Z71

It's time to set my old Z aside for a play truck and get my graduation present. I am getting a 2006 4 door Z and i want to put 305/70r17's on it... will they fit or do i need to use an add-a-leaf and turn the torsion bars?

I've got an '05 GMC ext. cab 4x4 WT with 305/70/17 Goodyear Wrangler MT's with no lift. They slightly rub on the front right fenderwell when you turn. I work pipeline construction and driving down the rough right-of-way's makes them all rub when I hit bumps pretty hard. I would suggest the lift.

turn your torsion keys a bit up that might help the rubbing!!

I would look at 285's. They are about the same height, but a bit narrower and that will help resolve rubbing issues.

I just ordered some 285/70/17's for mine with zero offset rims, i think they'll fit ok, but your 305's will rub, just not sure if a little or a lot
