Anyone Using the PIAA Airdam?

Hey guys, just had the lens fall off of the right side fog lite on my '01 Suburban, so before I drop $50 for a new one, thought I would look at possible upgrades.

 

The stock fog lites really don't do much despite the halogen bulbs they have in them. Did a search and saw a few folks that suggested the PIAA airdam, but nobody who had one...Has anybody actually installed this thing? Are the lites more effective than stock? Any airflow/cooling issues? Are the front tow hooks still usable on 4WDs?

 

Looks like what I'd want to do, but wanted to get some feedback before I drop $500 on a new airdam and new lites.
