Lifting a 2wd Yukon

Okay I understand that this 5.3l 2wd Yukon XL was probably only intended for grocery getting duties especially considering the leather seats, DVD player, etc. But after being defeated by a curb (yes a curb high centered me) I am on a mission. This thing will be in the sky before I am done. I have been doing some looking and I REALLY like the CST kit, especially how well the components look. Specifically I am looking at the 6" kit with the torsion lift key option. I also want to combine this with a 3" Performance Accessories body lift. I am really new to the off road scene but plan on selling my import to finance this lift so the budget should not be much of a problem. Are the items I listed above all I will need? Will I need to purchase a rear lift seperately or some form of blocks to keep my Yukon XL from sagging? I plan on taking this offroad, will this combination be suitable or will one offroad trip sideline my Yukon? One last thing, should I just pick up an old lifted pickup for my off road needs instead? If any more info about the vehicle is needed it is a 2002 GMC Yukon XL flex fuel 5.3l 2wd. Any help is appreciated!

I dont know how much money you are looking to spend, but My friend recently installed a 9-11 inch adjustable 2wd lift on his 06 duramax. The lift is made by a company out of California called CST. They are a great company and make some killer lift kits. Just looking at my buddys suspension, you can tell that they have their act together when It comes to making lift kits.

Yeah, I am looking at their 6 inch lift like I said in my post but I am considering adding a 3 inch body lift to it. I will give the 9-11 inch kit a look to see if it is worth the extra money. I definately will have ALOT of pics when I get this done but it will have to wait for me to get back from Balad Air Base, Iraq. I am just doing some research before I leave so I know what to look for when I get back.
